RuB, Rubinetterie Utensilerie BONOMI S.r.l., with registered offices at 25080 Ciliverghe di Mazzano (BS), Italy, in its capacity as Data Controller,  hereby discloses the procedures for managing its website with reference to the processing of visitors’ personal data, in accordance with art. 4, paragraph 1, letter f) of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003, regarding the protection of personal data (hereinafter the "Privacy Act").

This disclosure is provided pursuant to section 13 of the Privacy Act, for those interacting with RuB’s web services, and encompasses the criteria identified by Recommendation no. 2/2001 of May 17, 2001, issued by the Working Group, pursuant to art. 29 of Directive no. 95/46/EC, to establish the minimum requirements for collecting personal data online, and the manner, timing and nature of the information that the Data Controller is required to provide to users when they visit web pages, regardless of the purpose of the visit.

Consultation of this site may thus entail the processing of data relating to identified or identifiable persons.

The disclosure applies only to this site, and does not apply to other websites accessed through links available on the site.

 

LOCATION OF DATA PROCESSING

 

The processing of data relating to the website is performed at RuB’s  headquarters. During website maintenance, the relevant data can be processed by RuB’s employees responsible for servicing the technological part of the site at the company’s premises or elsewhere.

TYPE OF DATA AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING

 

BROWSING DATA

 

During the normal course of operations, the computer systems and software procedures, which are set up to operate this website may acquire some personal data, the transmission of which is implied when using Internet communication protocols.

Such information is not collected in order to be associated to identified users, but due to its intrinsic nature may, through processing and in conjunction with data held by third parties, allow the identification of users.

Data is also collected by Google Analytics for the sole purpose of monitoring site usage, obtain anonymous statistics on site usage and checking its correct functioning. Data may be used to ascertain responsibility in the event of computer crimes being committed, which can be to the detriment of the site.

 

DATA PROVIDED VOLUNTARILY BY THE DATA SUBJECT

 

The sending of optional, explicit and voluntary e-mails to addresses listed on this site involves acquiring the sender’s email address, which is necessary in order to respond to requests, and possibly other personal data included in the message.

Where necessary, consent will be acquired for the processing of personal data.

COOKIES

The site does not intentionally collect any personal data from users.

 

We do not use cookies to transmit information of a personal nature, nor do we use persistent cookies, or any other system for tracking visitors.

The use of session cookies (which are stored permanently on the data subject’s computer, are subject to consent by special popups, and are only stored for one month) is strictly limited to transmitting session identifiers (consisting of random numbers generated by the server) necessary to enable secure and efficient browsing of the website.

The session cookies used in this site do not use other technologies that could compromise users’ privacy, and do not allow the acquisition of visitors’ personal identification data.

 

CHOICE TO SUPPLY DATA

 

Users may provide personal data requested in the application forms to access the private area and to request the receipt of newsletters, information or other types of communication.

 

In the absence of such data, it may be impossible to fulfil these requests.
